Methodology / Process

Electronically engraved cylinders can be used for creating complex color patterns by using these processes:

• Engraved printing cylinder is placed horizontally and another cylinder placed on top
• The lower cylinder takes printing color from a trough with the excess scraped off by a steel blade which is closely fitted
• The cloth on which the print has to be made passes between the printer and subsequently over several steam drying boxes
• Complex color printing can be achieved by using more than one printing cylinder
